[ Brand Focus 品牌直擊] Soap & Glory – Body product 身體篇

我相信許多人去旅行都會買一些當地獨有的品牌. 但許多時候都不知道是否好用. 今次我想講一下香港沒有的品牌 - Soap & Glory. 假如大家有興趣,到有BOOTS 的國家, 例如泰國 / 英國可以入手一試. 很喜歡Soap & Glory 這種玩味, PIN-UP GIRL 風格的包裝. 全部都好美~!

For beauty guru, we craved to buy some local brands / product which cannot buy at home country. ( I know I am not alone as a shopaholic, isn’t it!?) Today I am going to talk about Soap & Glory body products, those are hard to find in Hong Kong. If you wish to buy S&G products, go to BOOTS shops in Thailand / UK. By the way, I am pretty obsessed with those pin-up girl image packaging of S&G products. They are GORGEOUS!!!

SUGAR CRUSH - BODY SCRUB (身體磨砂)

身體磨砂, 有一陣檸檬/ 青檸清香的感覺, 磨砂粒子是以糖為主,再加上啡啡的顆粒 (我覺得是果仁粉粒…!?), 整體感覺, 磨砂粒子較大.這個身體磨砂質感厚實,傾向膏狀, 不過推開後覺得比較鬆散,我個人來說不喜歡這種CONSISTENCY. 效果不錯,用後算有輕度滋潤感不緊繃.

It is a body scrub with sugar base and lime / lemon / citrus scent. This is sugar base with some brown scrubbing bits ( I guess those are nuts shell…?) The scrubbing particles are pretty large. The scrub is in a paste-like consistency. However when you spread out, it turns into a strange texture. I feel like I cannot spread out / scrub evenly over my body. I love the scrubbing effect but not a fan of its consistency. After using the scrub, I feel my skin silky smooth and it is not drying at all! 

PULP FRICTION BODY SCRUB - FOAMY FRUITY BODY SCRUB (起泡身體磨砂)

這個身體磨砂質地似洗面膏 (可能因為這個是白色及會起泡泡, 令我聯想到洗面膏), 氣味是有點GIRLY 的香味.這個磨砂粒子是以SCRUBBING BEADS 為主(我相信是比較不天然的東東了), 但磨砂粒子較小.喜歡會起泡的感覺, 其實都是一點點起泡, 不會似洗面膏 / 沐浴露一般誇張.用後清爽,冬天會有點小乾.

This body scrub looks like a cleansing foam to me! (maybe due to its consistency and foaming effect). The scent it pretty girly. The scrub is using scrubbing bits which is not on the natural side ( I believe). I love the foamy property as I think it is able to remove more dead skin. (The body scrub is able to leather up a bit, not as bubbly as cleansing form / shower gel). It is perfect for the summer weather as it is less moisturizing.

SCRUB 'EM & LEAVE 'EM - BODY EXFOLIATOR (身體磨砂)

最最愛這個香氣,有點後悔只買了TRAVEL SIZE. 這個香氣叫MIST YOU MADLY, 近花果香氣~! 這個磨砂,打看可以見到糖粒及粉紅色的磨砂粒子. 這個磨砂質感厚實,傾向膏狀, 和SUGAR CRUSH BODY SCRUB 有點相似.但推開後比較乾身,但有油潤感.用後香氣好持久(大約3-4 個小時)~! 讓人心情很好~!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this fragrance, and I totally regret only purchase the travel size…This fragrance is called Mist you Madly, a floral-fruity scent. The scrub is sugar base with pink scrubbing bits. The consistency is pretty much like the Sugar Crush Body Scrub, it is a paste-like texture. However, I love the texture after blending as it is dryer in texture. Indeed, I feel there is some essential oil base in this product so it is not drying at all. Nevertheless, the fragrance is able to last for 3-4 hours which is pretty impressive!

THE DAILY SMOOTH -  DRY SKIN BODY BUTTER (身體潤膚霜)

這個忘了拍大合照…. 同樣是MIST YOU MADLY 的香氣. 這個質感是近牛油狀,但是很易推開及吸收. 用後很滋潤, 可以LAST 到大半天.同樣香氣很持久, 用了這個,可以代替香水~! 正~!

I forgot to put this product in the product shot. This is a body butter with Mist you Madly scent. The texture of this product is pretty buttery ( on a harder side). It is easy to blend and absorb into the skin. It leave the quite long lasting fragrance as well as moisture effect. This body butter can totally replacing your daily fragrance!

這三個磨砂產品都很好用.只是有不同的質地及香氣.對我來說,三個的磨砂效果都相當好. OVERALL, S&G 的產品都沒有讓我失望. 大家有機會可以試試看~! 另外,如果你有興趣買Soap & Glory 的化妝品. 可以按以下的品牌直擊文章!

I am pretty impress about the performance of the body scrub. Those are with good scrubbing effect, just varies in fragrance and consistency. Overall, S&G products are in high quality and didn’t let me down. If you have a chance to shop for S&G product, just be bold and try. You won’t be disappointed! [ Brand Focus 品牌直擊] Soap & Glory – Makeup 化妝品篇

大家也許沒有聽過Soap & Glory這個品牌, 但或許會聽過BOOTS 吧. Soap & Glory 是一個在BOOTS 有開架的品牌. 有BATH & BODY 產品, 亦有化妝品. 而我一開始買這個品牌是先試化妝品的. 大家或許會心思思想試,但又不知道是好物,還是雷物. 這次給大家介紹幾件化妝品吧~!

Maybe you have not heard of Soap & Glory, but you should have heard of “Boots”. Soap & Glory is one of the brands available in Boots. Soap & Glory has a wide range of products, from Bath & Body to makeup products. The first thing I have tried from this brand is makeup product. In case you are interested in  their product but do not know what to start with. You may see my mini review on below stuff!

**there products are WELL LOVED. That’s why their packaging looks a bit old. Please bear with me…**

#01 - ONE HECK OF A BLOT - OIL ABSORBING, SHINECONTROLLING FACE POWDER (控油透明粉餅)

受YOUTUBER 追捧, 記得Stylesuzi ,  Essiebutton ,Zoella都有推介. 這是一個透明粉餅,我一般會用來定妝.如有需要, 都會用來補妝.這個粉餅基本上沒有遮瑕力,但控油力不俗. 主力用在T-ZONE 可以減輕出油溶妝.如果你臉很會出油. 這個粉餅很適合你.

Many Youtubers (such as Stylesuzi, Essiebutton & Zoella) RAVED about this product. It claimed to be “oil absorbing”, “shine control”. Those sound very promising. I would say “IT IS TRUE”!!! I have pretty oily T-zone. I used this for setting my makeup and seldom used for touch up. This face powder has the mattifying magic power! Since it is translucent, it would not give you much coverage. However, it is a good product for setting makeup and shine control. If you have oily skin, this is totally made for you!

#02 ARCHERY BROW PENCIL - 2-IN-1 BROW FILLING PENCIL & BRUSH ( 眉筆)

媲美ANASTASIA  BROW WIZ 的眉筆, 但只是六折的價錢.受到許多YOUTUBER 追捧~! 一邊是筆,一邊是擦.使用時很方便. 持久力高,用上一整天( ~10 – 12 小時),回到家還可以見到我的眉, 只是有一點點小暈. 便宜又好用的確是好處, 但壞處是只有兩個色號, 有點難找到PERFECT MATCH. 不過, 我覺得這個色號對於我還好. (我用的是HOT CHOCOLATE)

Beauty guru often compared this brow pencil with the Anastasia Brow Wiz. They said it is literally a dupe! It sound pretty amazing and that’s why I bought this product. The brow pencil has two ends, one end is the brow pencil and another end is the brush / spoolie which come in handy. I would say I am pretty impressed with its staying power. My brow look pretty much the same after 10 – 12 hour long day! However, the S&G Archery Brow Pencil is only available in TWO shades, it might be hard for you to find your perfect shade. ( I consider myself pretty lucky as the hot chocolate shade suit me pretty well~!)

但請注意,S&G 家有兩種眉筆.雖然同樣叫ARCHERY, 但是不相同的. 另一種是一邊筆狀,一邊是液體狀.

S&G has released another brow pencil called Archery. However, another archery has pencil on one end, and liquid tint on another end.

#03 - SOLAR POWDER -POWDER BRONZER/HIGHLIGHTER (光影/陰影粉)

這個光影/陰影粉是硬卡紙盒包裝. 一半是光影, 一半是陰影.陰影是咖啡色,沒有閃粉. 光影是膚色,有少許光澤感,給你自然光澤的感覺. 我會用化妝掃在上面打圈, 混和出一個自然色調的陰影.陰影顏色挻合我心意,不會太橙 / 泥色. 我愛死這個POWDER, 幾乎天天都會用~!

The product contained in a hard card board case, pretty sturdy for travelling too! The compact is split into two side, the bronzer and highlighter. The bronzer side is deep brown shade while the highlighter is in skin tone with little bit of glow. The highlight will bring you a subtle glow.  I would use the makeup brush swirl around the powder to get the perfect natural shading colour. I love this quite a lot and use it almost EVERY SINGLE DAY! The colour is pretty night as it is not too orangy nor muddy.

#04 - Soap & Glory Cheekmate Cheek & Lip Stain (胭脂液) (discontinued 己停產)

買這個產品是因為CHEEKMATE 看起來的顏色與BENEFIT BENETINT 很相似, 但價錢只是一半.但擠出來就知道兩者的質地不一樣. CHEEKMATE 是比較GEL 狀.還未推開時的顏色是近車厘子色,推開後是帶有自然玫瑰粉紅色調. 用上後讓人以為是害羞臉紅的感覺.因為STAIN 的關係, 持久度真的很高. 但使用時要小心, 手要定及動作要快, 要不然會留下一點點紅印….新手要多加留意~!

I bought this Cheekmate as I think it looks like Benefit Benetint, indeed with a fraction of price. The texture of Cheekmate is in gel form, not too liquidly. It is in cherry red, and it turn into rosy pink after blending. The rosy pink shade is so subtle which give you a blush feeling~! As it is tinted, I had to work extra carefully. I used to bland my cheek one by one, otherwise, the cheek stain will dry and leaving pink dots on my cheek!

OVERALL, 以上的產品性價比很高. 如果有機會,我應該會再回購.(看到ONE HECK OF A BLOT 已經見底, 捨不得再用…..T^T). 大家如果有機會去旅行,經過BOOTS, 可以去看一看~!

Overall, I believe Soap & Glory products are in high quality. There are totally worth trying! I would totally re-purchase these products if they used up. ( I already hit pan for the “one heck of a blot”. You can tell how much I love it!) If you are lucky enough to go to countries with Boots (such as Thailand / UK), you should have a look at the S&G counter!
