[ MINI REVIEW 短評] 滴滴金 - Jo Malone Cologne 大檢閱 (PART 1)

Jo Malone 的香水近年都很火紅. 因為香水不便宜(滴滴珍貴如金), 所以有仔細去做過RESEARCH.

Jo Malone has been quite popular recently. As it is pretty pricy, I went ahead and did some research before making any purchase.

JO MALONE 的香水分為幾個系列

分別為CITRUS, FRUITY, LIGHT FLORAL , FLORAL, SPICY , WOODY 及INTENSE.

個人比較喜歡CITRUS, FRUITY 及LIGHT FLORAL.而FLORAL 就因為太INTENSE, 未能接受. SPICY 及WOODY 感覺上很男性化,而INTENSE 我就沒有研究過了.

Jo Malone has divided their cologne collection into differently categories, namely CITRUS, FRUITY,  LIGHT FLORAL, FLORAL, SPICY, WOODY & INTENSE.

I prefer citrus , fruity & light floral categories. Indeed, I think Floral is too intense for me. For Spicy and woody range, it is a bit too masculine for me.

(其實以分類來說,真的有點摸不著頭腦….不過,喜歡就好)

I kind of confused by its category method, as long as I love the scent, that’s ok for me!

CITRUS系列 - EARL GREY & CUCUMBER

A British tradition...afternoon tea. A fragrance with a burst of bergamot, distinct to Earl Grey, and the cool succulence of crunchy cucumber. Counterpoised with a sweet base of beeswax, vanilla and musk. Reviving and refined.

本人真的很愛很愛EARL GREY, 所以知道有這香水味道,就第一時間買了. 也許加上了cucumber, 令到這種香味很清新. EARL GREY 的味道會在後調更加明顯.

I cannot deny I have a weird obsession of Earl Grey. Anything with Earl Grey would get my attention! Once I knew Jo Malone made cologne with Earl Grey, I made this product top of my list! With the little hint of cucumber freshness, I love this cologne so so much! The scent of earl grey arise when the cucumber freshness fades away and it is pretty long lasting on me!

FRUITY系列 - ENGLISH PEAR & FREESIA

官網簡介:

The essence of autumn. The sensuous freshness of just-ripe pears is wrapped in a bouquet of white freesias, and mellowed by amber, patchouli and woods. Luscious and golden.

梨味加上花香, 是帶甜的花味. 嗯………..嗅上去是好聞的. 一開始是果香比較多, 花味不算太濃,後調方會更顯出花味. 但OVERALL 花味的香水不算太特別. 會買這個香水是因為這個FREESIA 與EARL GREY & CUCUMBER 的氣味很搭. 可以做LAYERING~

Pear & Freesia mix, it is a sweet floral scent. At first, there is a scent of sweet fruit, the floral scent will soon appear at the later note. I love the mix of fruit and floral, indeed this is not a special combination among the perfume. I intended to buy this cologne for layering with my Earl Grey & Cucumber!
